NOTICE: Registration Office, Burgh Quay will reopen Monday 20 July 2020 for appointment holders only


The Registration Office in Burgh Quay will reopen on Monday 20 July in line with the Government roadmap. Priority will be given initially to those who had their appointments for 1st time registrations cancelled and will be contacted directly by ISD in the coming days with a new appointment.

For those who wish to renew their registration, the online Registration Renewal system currently in place for students will be available from 20 July for all non-nationals based in Dublin. This will mean anyone looking to renew their registration will no longer have to book an appointment and attend the registration office in person.

The online appointment system will remain suspended for the time being.

You MUST have the following documentation ready in order to make your appointment and you MUST be able to PRINT your confirmation email:

1. GNIB Card (for renewals only)
2. Passport
3. Your email address

Check early & often to book a registration appointment in Dublin.
You can book an appointment up to 10 weeks early. A small number of extra near-term appointments are also released every day at 14:30. If you can't book one straightaway, keep trying. It may take 2 or 3 days to find one.
